Axenfeld Nerve Loop
- Posterior ciliary nerve loops that are visible in the sclera.
- Usually marked by multiple focal pigmented areas at a constant distance from the corneoscleral junction.
- Manipulation of the overlying conjunctiva may elicit considerable pain.
