Ophthalmology Fellowships Programs
The Department of Ophthalmology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center offers fellowship positions in select subspecialties. At Columbia, our fellows have the unique opportunity to learn from outstanding physicians and research faculty members, many of whom are leaders in their fields. Each program is designed to give the fellow the specialized skills and knowledge needed to excel in his or her area of study.
The fellowship program utilizes a comprehensive curriculum in medical and surgical diseases of the cornea, drawing on the expertise of multiple faculty members.
The clinical fellowship in glaucoma is a one-year fellowship designed to provide comprehensive subspecialty training in glaucoma diagnosis, management, and surgery.
The Department of Ophthalmology at CUIMC offers a 1–2-year fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology with clinical and research experience.
The Vitreoretinal Fellowship at Columbia University is a two-year program organized as a comprehensive training period in both medical and surgical retinal disease.
