The Tenth Abraham Spector Prize Lecture and Symposium sponsored by the Department of Ophthalmology and the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center, will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 1:30pm-5:30pm. The symposium is a tribute and celebration of Abraham Spector, Ph.D., a longtime leader in the eye research field. Dr. Spector's laboratory was internationally recognized for its work on the lens of the eye and his research earned him many awards including the Guggenheim and Fulbright Fellowships, The Proctor Medal of ARVO, honorary doctorates, and significant research awards.
