Provost Senior Faculty Teaching Scholar 2022-2023

Dr. Laurel Abbruzzese was appointed as a Provost Senior Faculty Teaching Scholar for 2022-2023. The Provost's Senior Faculty Teaching scholars program "aims to develop an annual cohort of senior faculty who each have the opportunity to create a vision and plan for supporting, changing and innovating the culture of teaching and learning within their own department of school, and across campus."

Virginia Apgar Society Educational Research Grant

Dr. Abbruzzese was also part of a team that received a Virginia Apgar Society Educational Research Grant. Details of the grant are below.

Proposal: Building the Capacity of Healthcare Professionals Toward Anti-Racist and inclusive Interprofessional Care. Drs. Cunningham, Abbruzzese and Graham-Perel seek to maximize healthcare quality and safety through the co-creating of this curriculum.
