Dr. Jean Fitzpatrick Timmerberg speaks at the 2022 European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education

Dr. Jean Fitzpatrick Timmerberg was a keynote speaker at 2022 European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education (ENPHE) Conference in Famalicao, Portugal. The lecture provided background information on Competency-based Education (CBE), specifically Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), and the movement to this kind of a framework in physical therapy. Over the course of the conference, two workshop sessions were led by Dr. Timmerberg where participants applied and entrustment-based discussion to a scenario to determine whether an individual is ready to be entrusted with the task at hand. Entrustment-based discussions focus on the question of whether you would trust someone with a task you have not been able to (fully) observe.
