Radiology Interest Group
The Radiology Interest Group (RIG) offers medical students early exposure to the diverse and rapidly changing field of radiology. RIG provides opportunities for clinical shadowing, faculty mentorship, and research opportunities with faculty at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Through speaker panels, hands-on workshops, case studies, and collaborative events with radiology students, gain insight into the critical role radiology plays in patient care across all specialties. RIG also offers insight into the day-to-day of subspecialties like interventional, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal radiology.
Whether you're committed to pursuing radiology, interested in the use of imaging to aid medical decision making, or simply curious about the newest advances the field has contributed to medicine, RIG welcomes all levels of interest.
