MD29 Students,
These assigned seminars will focus on budgeting, credit, loans (for those of you who have or will be borrowing) and recordkeeping. We have divided your class into three groups and scheduled a session for each group (see assignments below). For those of you that have already reached out due to a conflict, please attend on the date that was confirmed with our office. Attendance for financial aid recipients is mandatory.
See schedule with assignments posted on Oasis and listed below:
Before the seminar, we ask that you log into Columbia iGrad. Once there you will go to the dropdown menu in Topics and click on Budgeting; then you can scroll down and click on “Download a Daily Income and Expenses Diary”. Please complete the worksheet with your anticipated monthly budget and expenses and bring with you to the workshop. For your convenience, we have also attached a copy of the worksheet.
All materials presented at the seminar should be posted on Courseworks no later than September 26th.
All groups will start promptly, as we know this is a very busy time of year for all and we want to cover all the topics in a time efficient manner.
If you have any conflict for the date you are scheduled to attend, please email me at pa2013@columbia.edu right away and let me know which session you can attend since rooms have limited seating.
