Public Health Interest Group
The Public Health Interest Group was created to provide an accessible space to discuss the intersection between medicine and public health, as well as foster an ongoing examination of the current state of public health in our communities, both global and local. We meet monthly for informal discussion groups centered around key issues in public health and provide opportunities for career exploration at the intersection of public health and medicine. We host periodic lectures from public health physicians to promote public health awareness and career development for the broader CUIMC community. We hope to foster a conversation on public health beyond the medical school classroom and create opportunities for interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration.
