Primary Care Progress

The mission of Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) echoes the mission of the national organization, Primary Care Progress (PCP), namely to expose students to innovative models of primary care, develop leadership skills, and strengthen an interdisciplinary primary care network of health professionals.

Columbia's chapter of PCP fulfills these goals by bringing together students and faculty members interested in primary care from across CUIMC's four professional schools. Our events allow students to view and think critically about different models of primary care delivery and to develop leadership skills that spur positive growth and collaboration in the CUIMC community.
