Tuition and Fees

Visit the Office of Student Financial Aid and Planning for full information regarding tuition, fees and other expenses related to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

Total estimated costs per year including other educational and living expenses are included here.

Financial Assistance

There are many sources of financial assistance available to Columbia DPT students. Financial assistance comes in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and/or work-study provided by federal, state, university, and/or private sources.

The DPT Program offers a number of scholarships to incoming students each year. The majority of scholarships do not require a formal application and recipients will be notified in their acceptance letter. The Programs in Physical Therapy Student Scholarship requires an application. Information regarding the application process is provided during the interview sessions. Students are notified if they are a Physical Therapy Student Scholarship recipient prior to the $1,500 non-refundable deposit deadline.

At Columbia University's Programs in Physical Therapy, financial aid is available to assist students who require support beyond their personal and family resources. Prospective students can begin the financial aid application process upon receiving an admission offer and confirming enrollment at Columbia University. You may apply for Financial Aid through the Office of Student Financial Aid and Planning.

Housing

Our students often choose to live in residential housing facilities on campus at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). Approximately 1,400 graduate students, postdoctoral research fellows and scientists of all disciplines live in CUIMC housing, making for a diverse and vibrant community. Options include studios, one-bedroom apartments, and multi-room apartments for singles, couples, and groups of friends. There are also gender-specific floors and accessible rooms. For complete details, visit the CUIMC housing website.
