Southwest Asian and North African Afinity Group

Southwest Asian and North African Afinity Group was established in 2025 as the first CUIMC-wide affinity group based in VP&S! We aim to provide guidance, support, and a safe space for all students identifying as ethnically/culturally from the South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region, as well as their allies. From potluck get-togethers to movie screenings, and many more future events planned, we hope to cultivate a community for these marginalized groups while also educating our peers about the rich history and culture of SWANA.
