Degree Requirements
In order to graduate from the Program in Genetic Counseling and receive an MS in Genetic Counseling degree from Columbia University, students must achieve the following:
- Have earned a minimum of 80 credits with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better, including completing all required courses and fieldwork/internship experiences outlined in the Program of Study
- Be in good standing with the Program at the time of degree conferral (i.e., not on academic probation)
- Have passed all required campus and Program exams
- Have no outstanding bills owed to any office at the University
