Scientific Platforms and Research Cores (SPARC) Advisory Committee

The SPARC Advisory Committee provides strategic oversight and guidance for Scientific Platforms across VP&S. Composed of tenured faculty and research core leaders, the committee helps ensure that platforms and core services align with institutional priorities, remain accessible to the broader research community, and continue to meet evolving scientific needs. The committee also advises on investment in new platforms and services, identifies opportunities for coordination across initiatives, informs policies governing shared research resources, and evaluates when existing platforms should be expanded, updated, or phased out.
