Darcy S. Peterka, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist in the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute at Columbia University, earned a PhD in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University. He has been at Columbia since 2008, and at the Zuckerman Institute since 2015. Dr. Peterka is dedicated to pioneering and implementing state-of-the-art optical and algorithmic approaches for monitoring and controlling the behavior of neurons.
