Scientific Research Advisory Committee (SRAC)

The Scientific Research Advisory Committee (SRAC) convenes senior faculty from across the basic science and clinical departments at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) to strengthen the school's scientific research enterprise. In partnership with the Dean and VP&S academic and research leadership, the committee helps to identify priorities that support faculty success, promote research collaboration, facilitate faculty recruitment, and enhance research training throughout the VP&S research community.

Through this advisory role, SRAC serves as a vital link between the VP&S research community and school leadership, helping to guide decisions that advance the continued growth, excellence, and impact of research conducted at VP&S.

SRAC members encourage all VP&S faculty to offer suggestions, perspectives, and priorities to help inform the committee's ongoing advisory efforts. To submit suggestions to the committee, contact individual members or email ps-officeforresearch@cumc.columbia.edu.
