About Us

Q Clinic provides free primary care services for the LGBTQ+ community, especially those who are underserved, underinsured, or resource- and housing-insecure. We are committed to respectfully serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and other gender non-conforming communities in New York City.

Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) students and faculty formed the Q Clinic in October 2015 to address the lack of comprehensive primary care services specific to the unique and diverse needs of people who identify as LGBTQ+. The clinic offers a wide range of services and tools for health management, including free STI/HIV lab screenings, subsidized medications, PrEP, and flu shots.
