Dear Students,
The Office of Student Financial Aid & Planning has opened registration for the upcoming MD26 Graduating Student Debt Management & Financial Wellness Seminars. If you have borrowed any educational loans while at VP&S you must attend a seminar before you graduate. Students who do not have any loans are also welcome to attend the financial wellness component of the seminar. Seminars will be held in person once a month from January through April and will not be recorded nor will they be offered through Zoom.
We will be presenting loan information to help you to plan your personal finances after graduation. This will include strategies to assist you with loan repayment, creating a calendar of repayment “events”, and discussing options like the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. In addition, personal finance topics will also be discussed.
You should only register for one date. Registering quickly will result in you locking in your first choice. We have limited openings for each seminar, so it is important that you register as soon as possible.
If you borrowed educational loans other than Direct Unsubsidized (Stafford), GradPLUS, Perkins or Consolidation loans prior to matriculating at P&S, bring the name of those lenders/billing servicers to the meeting.
