AI-Based AMD Detection From Portable OCT Images
We have developed an image processing pipeline to super-resolve images captured from a low-cost, portable Optical Coherence Tomography device, enabling enhanced downstream AI algorithm performance at Age-related Macular Degeneration detection. Next steps include embedding the image processing + AI software pipeline into the portable OCT imaging device to enable a broader population to gain access to such potentially sight-saving technology.
