Welcome to the website for the Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology at Harlem Hospital Center, an affiliate of Columbia University Medical Center. Our faculty is committed to providing a comprehensive learning environment in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology. Our goal is to train radiologists to become effective members of the healthcare community with strong interpretive skills and the ability to provide consultative services to referring physicians in an effort to improve the quality of patient care. Training is geared towards mastery in all radiology subspecialties as well as the general competency areas, including professionalism, interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of appropriate diagnostic tools, cost-effective resource utilization, commitment to continuous education, and most importantly, to the profession and the greater community.

The faculty-to-resident ratio is approximately 1:1. Residents enjoy close relationships with faculty attendings who provide extensive personalized teaching. Residents are exposed to first-line interaction with all clinical disciplines, caring for a diverse patient population with a wide spectrum of clinical problems and underlying pathology.

Our residents also enjoy a strong sense of comradery with each other. We are very proud of the group of diverse and exceptional residents we have at our program.

Please explore our website for more information about the program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
