Twelve VP&S students won awards at the annual Student Research Day in April. The 12 were among 74 students who presented their research to colleagues, fellow students, faculty, and leadership. The presentations included research posters with explanations of the students’ methodologies, results, and inspiration.

The event also recognized a faculty member who has shaped a student’s scholarly project experience. The 2024 Scholarly Projects Faculty Mentor of the Year is Syed Ali Husain, MD, assistant professor of medicine.
