Dr. Jaehoon Cho, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Digestive Diseases at Columbia University Medical Center, holds the esteemed position of Director of Endoscopy at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital. Dr. Cho is triple board certified and specializes as an interventional gastroenterologist, focusing on minimally invasive bariatric/weight loss procedures. These include endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty and the placement/removal of gastric balloons. Beyond endobariatric procedures, he provides expertise in endoscopic interventions for pancreas, bile duct, and a spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders. His specialized skill set encompasses advanced therapies such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), stent placement, excision of large polyps, and treatments for Barrett's esophagus.
