His academic journey led him to the University of Manchester, England, where he completed his MSc in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences in 2012 and earned his PhD in Medicine-Optometry in 2017 under the guidance of Professor David Henson. Research

Dr. Tsamis' research focuses on the development and improvement of techniques to better detect and monitor glaucoma. His primary research interest lies on the technologies of optical coherence tomography (OCT) and perimetry (visual fields). The goal of his research is to assess the capability of a topographic structure-function evaluation in glaucoma diagnosis and detection of progression.
