Fundraising Totals for 2020 Vision Initiatives:

$569,889,000 (increase of $187M since November 2014) with a total of 23,574 gifts.

New Professorships:

26 new professorships have been established since launching the 2020 Vision, bringing the total number of endowed faculty positions to 248

Precision Medicine:

In May 2015, P&S received a $75 million transformational gift from Florence and Herbert Irving to support precision medicine, cancer genomics, and targeted cancer therapies. The Irvings’ gift also establishes seven new endowed professorships and expands the Irving Scholars program at P&S. The Irvings’ commitment is the leading gift for the Universitywide Precision Medicine Initiative, launched in 2014 by Dean Lee Goldman and President Lee Bollinger.
