HIRN Trainee Scholarship Awarded to Rachel Madley

The HIRN Training Scholarship was awarded to Rachel during this years’ HIRN 2020 Annual Investigator Meeting which took place from September 30, to October 2nd. Ms.Madley is currently a PhD candidate at the CCTI and in the Microbiology and Immunology Department at CUIMC, and is doing her dissertation research in the laboratory of Dr. Megan Sykes. Her research focuses on T cell development in the human immune system and impairment of this process in Type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune diseases.
