New Study Identifies Driver of CAR T Cell Exhaustion

The Sadelain lab and collaborators at University Hospital Tübingen identified a protein that leads to CAR-T cell exhaustion, diminishing their potency against solid cancers. The researchers found the protein using a high-throughput method that screens hundreds of transcription factors to look for drivers of CAR T cell dysfunction.
