Jianing Fu Receives American Lung Association Innovation Award

On June 17, 2026, Dr. Jianing Fu has been awarded the Innovation Award from the American Lung Association for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028. The award is in the amount of $150,000 over the period of two years and will support the project titled: "Quantifying bidirectional alloresponses after human lung transplantation to dissect mechanisms of rejection." The Innovation Award is intended to support highly promising investigators with stellar track records of accomplishment, who have the potential to advance the field of lung disease science.
