Jianing Fu Named Inaugural Legorreta Transplant Tolerance Scholar

On May 14, 2026, Dr. Jianing Fu has been selected as the inaugural recipient of the Legorreta Transplant Tolerance Scholarship award in the Columbia Center for Translational Immunology at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) at CUIMC. This tremendous honor recognizes Dr. Fu's exceptional research in organ transplantation and immune tolerance, as well as the conviction that her work is certain to have a significant impact on the field. The Legorreta Transplant Tolerance Scholarship has been made possible by a generous gift from Pablo and Almudena Legorreta.
