Jean-Marie Alves-Bradford and Hetty Cunningham are launching the AAMC Northeast Group for Education Affairs (NEGEA) Health Equity Special Interest Group (SIG)! The mission of the health equity SIG is to create a community of practice of educators engaged in peer support, mentoring and scholarship related to health equity. This community will bring together faculty working in anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion to support each other, share ideas, collaborate, and advance best practices. The first meeting is Friday, March 4th from 4-5pm. If you’d like to get involved, please email Hilary Paredes (Hilary.Paredes@nyspi.columbia.edu).
