Congratulations to Jackie Lendinara for being selected as the Employee of the Month for September 2024!

Every month, we honor an employee who has consistently demonstrated excellence and contributed significantly to our collective success. Their superb work ethic and dedication deserve special recognition, and we endeavor to showcase their stellar performance. This includes qualities such as teamwork, leadership, innovation, and dedication. This month, we have selected Ms. Lendinara.

Jackie Lendinara has been a key member of our Ophthalmology department for over two years. Born and raised in the Bronx, Jackie’s journey into healthcare began after working with Dr. Rand and Dr. Florakis. Her passion for helping people has been a lifelong calling and a driving force throughout her career, which first blossomed while working in her family-owned Italian restaurant.

Jackie is known for her incredible multitasking abilities, staying calm under pressure, and her eagerness to both learn and teach others. A true team player, Jackie’s positive energy helps create a welcoming environment for both her colleagues and patients alike. As the friendly face greeting patients at check-in and the kind voice guiding them over the phone, Jackie excels in ensuring everyone feels cared for.

Outside of work, Jackie is a proud dog mom, deeply passionate about healthy eating, and enjoys spending time with her family. Her love for pizza, chicken cutlets, and Spanish food speaks to her vibrant personality, while her hobbies include traveling, watching the sunset on a beach, and embracing life’s simple joys.

One of Jackie’s dreams is to open a large dog sanctuary when she retires, dedicating her time to caring for animals—a testament to her nurturing and caring nature.
