Congratulations to Delfina Cortez for being selected as the Employee of the Month for August 2024! Their superb work ethic and dedication deserve special recognition, and we endeavor to showcase their stellar performance. This includes qualities such as teamwork, leadership, innovation, and dedication. This month, we have selected Ms. Cortez.

Delfina Cortez was born and raised in New York City. She has been a valuable member of the Department of Ophthalmology for over a year. She excels at motivating her coworkers, instilling confidence in their abilities, and is a natural problem solver with a passion for continuous learning. Delfina is also a devoted mother to her son, who is about to begin his senior year of high school.

Outside of work, Delfina is an enthusiastic cook with a love for exploring different cuisines. She enjoys watching psychological thrillers, taking brisk walks, and cherishing time spent with family and friends. Delfina is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has a remarkable experience from start to finish, consistently going above and beyond in her role.
