Cory Abate-Shen, PhD

Cory Abate-Shen, Ph.D., has received the 2015 Bladder Cancer Research Innovation Award from the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) for her proposal “Epigenetic regulation of bladder cancer progression.” This research project will explore the role of epigenetic regulators in bladder cancer and evaluate them as possible treatment targets. The award was granted as part of a collaboration between Dr. Abate-Shen and fellow faculty members James McKiernan, M.D., and Michael Shen, Ph.D., and scientists at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
