The Office of Faculty Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is led by Christopher Irobunda, MD, PhD, Jim Ovia Associate Professor of Cardiology and Vice Chair of Faculty Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within the Department of Medicine.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is shared at every level of the University. Across the Department of Medicine, the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Columbia as a whole, we are working together to enshrine the principles of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the systems, structures, and culture of the entire institution.
