The clinical team comprises Columbia faculty members from the Department of Medicine, including hospitalists and specialists in critical care, gerontology, cardiology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, pulmonology, and rheumatology. Our services include:

  • The Cardiac Diagnostic Center provides state-of-the-art cardiac testing and management of heart disease. 
  • Our gastroenterology team offers endoscopy services to diagnose and treat digestive tract conditions using advanced imaging and minimally invasive techniques.
  • A dedicated asthma service supports patients with respiratory illnesses.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Allen Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for critically ill patients, as well as post-operative patients requiring specialized ICU support.

Geriatric Palliative Care Consult Service

The Geriatric Palliative Care Consult Service supports adults at Allen Hospital with complex illness, symptoms, decisions, and end-of-life care, while teaching Geriatric and Palliative Medicine.

Hospitalists

The Allen Hospitalist team delivers collaborative inpatient care through physician–PA rounding teams, supporting admissions, ICU coverage, and specialty co-management.
