About Us

Located on the northern tip of Manhattan, Allen Hospital serves northern Manhattan, including the Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods, as well as Riverdale and the Bronx. Services are available in Spanish for our Spanish-speaking patients and their families.

Allen is home to the Och Spine Hospital, where a renowned staff of orthopedic specialists provides innovative care for spinal conditions, from the most common disorders to the rarest and most difficult-to-treat deformities. In addition, our emergency room is open around the clock to serve adults in need of immediate medical attention.

All Allen Hospital physicians are also on the staff of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and on the faculty of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. This allows us to offer our patients seamless access to clinical trials and the most advanced procedures.
