Graduate Student Organization

The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) represents the interests and concerns of graduate students in the VIBRE PhD Pathways Program at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons.

The GSO is comprised of elected students who represent the diverse student body and support the personal, intellectual, and social development of graduate students in the VIBRE PhD Pathways Program. This includes promoting social and academic interactions among students from different programs, representing student interests regarding graduate student life issues, encouraging the integration of new graduate students into our student body, and providing graduate students opportunities to engage in our institution's communities and those of New York City, where we are located.

Our group meets on a regular basis and encourages graduate students to engage with us to have their voice heard and to enhance the graduate student experience.
