The resources outlined below offer vital services spanning safety, technology, accessibility, community, and personal support to help ensure that every student has the tools needed to fully engage in their academic and campus life.
Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety provides comprehensive services to Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), Morningside, and Manhattanville campuses. Programs include ID card and access services, the Columbia University EMS, emergency notifications, safety escorts, and shuttle bus services.
Information Technology
Columbia University Irving Medical Center Information Technology (CUIMC-IT) provides technical support for students on information technology. The Student TechBar provides remote support and a walk-in service desk in the Hammer Building, LL1-118, from 9am to 5pm during the week.
Campus Housing Office

Student Service Online (SSOL) is the university's web-based, multi-purpose tool for current students: registration, billing, and more.

Disability Services facilitates equal access for students with disabilities by coordinating accommodation and support services.
Sexual Respect
Columbia University is committed to fostering an environment that is free from gender-based discrimination and harassment, including sexual assault and all other forms of gender-based misconduct. The Sexual Respect resource site provides help and resources to engage our Columbia community in this effort.

Religious Life
Columbia University Religious Life fosters an inclusive environment where students can explore faith, meaning, and community. Religious Life offers pastoral care, interfaith dialogue, worship opportunities, and spaces for reflection supporting spiritual well-being and connection to resources and advisers from diverse traditions. CUIMC provides a prayer space in room LL2-221 in the Hammer Health Science Building. Students may submit a request for access to this space at: cumc-IDoffice@columbia.edu.
