Residency
The Allen Hospital is the second major training site for residents and fellows in the Department of Medicine. Our internal medicine residents rotate through the Allen ICU and our medicine ward service. Our hospitalist attendings staff our teaching ward service, which includes medical students, interns, and senior residents. Many of our medical subspeciality fellows, including critical care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, nephrology, and rheumatology, rotate through the Allen Hospital.
Our internal medicine residents also rotate through the Ambulatory Care Clinic system for their continuity clinic during their three-year residency and are supervised by our internal medicine faculty.
