Funding Opportunity
About the Annual Request for Applications (RFA)
At the Center for the Transition to Parenthood (CTtP), we believe that advancing perinatal care means investing in the ideas and organizations that move the field forward. Each year we award two (2) $50,000 awards for initiatives advancing science or intervention oriented to the public health mission of transforming the perinatal care ecosystem.
We accept proposals for:
- Research projects in areas such as the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD), prenatal programming, and perinatal mental health services
- Community-based initiatives that improve perinatal care, with a focus on equity, access, and innovation
Applications will be reviewed by a CTtP national working group of clinicians, researchers, mental health experts, community practitioners and advocates.
This is an annual opportunity so even if the timing is not right for you this year, we encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter and follow CTtP on LinkedIn to stay updated and hear about future funding rounds. If you were not successful during last year’s RFA cycle, we welcome you to apply again this year.
If you have any questions, please email the Center for the Transition to Parenthood at: TTP@cumc.columbia.edu
