The Columbia University Digestive and Liver Diseases Research Center is committed to better understanding digestive and liver diseases and improving therapeutic, preventative, and diagnostic approaches. Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), our Center promotes collaborative, multidisciplinary research in digestive and liver diseases, integrating clinical and basic gastroenterology and hepatology with state-of-the-art computational bioinformatics. We unite investigators with interests in digestive, liver, and pancreatic physiology in an environment of creativity and collaboration.

The Division of Digestive & Liver Diseases at Columbia University Irving Medical Center will have a strong presence at Digestive Disease Week® 2026 in Chicago.
