Visiting Student Intern – Research

This designation is offered to students who are participating in research-related training activities and will be paid via a stipend.

The criteria for this designation are:

• The visitor must be a non-Columbia Student
• The student must provide evidence of being registered at another university or of acceptance into a professional degree program (i.e., Medical school)
• The Department must attest that the student will be participating in an established departmental “student training” program at Columbia
• The compensation associated with the training program must be paid via a stipend
