Terminations

An appointment as an officer of instruction may end as a result of any of the following actions: a decision not to reappoint in a non-tenured rank, resignation, the discontinuation of a unit of instruction, dismissal, or retirement.

An appointment as a research officer may end as a result of any of the reasons stated above as well as for a layoff due to sudden and unexpected lapse of funding.
